A green community in the making, located in California’s beautiful Mendocino county town of Laytonville, offers a real estate opportunity.
The Laytonville EcoVillage is beginning a new chapter! 2018 brings real estate offerings—the original house and barn and its green/permaculture infrastructure, as well as three undeveloped parcels. We are seeking to sell to like-minded eco-friendly folks, and we currently have several prospective buyers in the works who like the idea of living in a “green” neighborhood.
In lieu of offering workshops and creating new projects on the land, Founder Dan Antonioli is focusing this year on making necessary upgrades and preparations for the sale of the lots. He’ll be finishing up existing permaculture projects and attending to all the details of selling green real estate.
Work Trade and WWOOFing will still be offered this year, and we look forward to the next group of seasonal workers who wish to immerse themselves in an educational environment that will give them a deeper understanding of grassroots sustainability. We have a large vegetable garden in the works and are refining our permaculture landscape. Lots to do and learn here!
If you’re interested in buying the house or a parcel—or both—please follow this link to our dedicated real estate site. You’ll find most of the answers to your questions there, as well as on the pages of this website.
If you’re interested in Work Trade be sure to read through the description and application carefully.
