Laytonville Ecovillage

A sustainable living community in Mendocino County, California

Laytonville Ecovillage’s new website

April 25, 2013 By Dan Antonioli

It’s Spring, new growth abounds, and nothing is more exciting than launching this new website! Thank you Sara Glaser for designing a site that will grow with more information, blogs, pics, and resource links for sustainability and ecovillage living. Visit Sara’s site at: saraglaser.com

Work-traders and WWOOFERS are arriving early this year, which is a boon to the garden and the overall maintenance of the land. Homesteads require a lot of work and there’s always work to be done, always something to be fixed, and there are numerous permaculture and natural building projects in the works. Email us for details if you’d like to participate.

Our partnership with the Solar Living Institute is growing and this year we’re offering weekend workshops on solar hot water systems, off-grid photovoltaics, and round pole construction. We’re planning on having some natural building work parties and will keep you posted. We’re going to finish the cob bench and re-build the cob oven.

Feel free to join us!
